Planted from seeds!

I don’t know if you ever even noticed this by the glass doors along 38th Street, but Jill’s Sunday School (which was led by Jarrod Hulme that day) class planted these from seed pods in January. I have no idea what it is, but it is growing fast! And the shape of those leaves! Nothing like getting to “the Heart of the Matter!”

Join us this morning at 10:30 as we worship together. Grab a candle, a worry stone, and some food-more than just communion-as we share our time together around the table.

Dearest Faith Friends,
After much prayer and discernment, the Council and I have decided that in order to protect the most vulnerable among us, we will not be holding worship tomorrow, nor will we hold any events on Wednesday, March 18. We are looking into doing a live stream for worship next week, and will give more details by Wednesday.

I would like to invite you all to join me for a Facebook live event tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. – our normal worship time. Our monologue reader (who happens to be Karsten!) will join me. We will pray, hear scripture and the monologue, and have a short meditation together. This will be the first time I have ever done it, so we will see how it goes!

In the meantime, please know that if you need anything, I am here. Continue to practice what you need to for your safety and the safety of the most vulnerable. And don’t forget…..WASH YOUR HANDS!!

2020 Lenten Season

  • Post category:Worship

Come and spend a moment (or an hour and some!) and enjoy the atmosphere of the sanctuary. This Lent, we explore Jesus’ journey through Holy Week, and ask ourselves, “Where do we fit into this story?”

This first Sunday of Lent, we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper together as we explore the theme of ‘The Parade: Risking Reputation.” 10:30 a.m. March 1.

Thank you Mark and Becky Christy for all the hard work you put into decorating the sanctuary and altar!

Inclement weather…

Because the weather isn’t very nice, we are cancelling Sunday School, worship, the potluck and Annual Meeting scheduled for tomorrow, January 19.

We have rescheduled the potluck and Annual Meeting for Sunday, January 26. Please be safe!
